When procrastination stands in the way of creativity

I consider myself a creative person: even if I don't post on social media what I create, that doesn't mean I don't create at all. I'm an artist, and I also write from time to time.
I have a lot of ideas and concepts, and by a lot I mean a LOT. The problem? Those ideas stay in my head. And that's a big problem. A very big one.
Doomscrolling won't get you anywhere, that's for sure. Thing is, it's very easy to doomscroll than picking up a pencil when you're so used of not doing anything productive and leaving pending things for tomorrow.
And when tomorrow comes, things get in the way: whether you forget, or you find something more interesting to do... and so on. I, sadly, know this very well.
And that's not the only thing. I sure play many games, more than I'd rather like to admit. And it's not the games' fault, but mine for not managing my time well.
I don't really need to get every limited reward/cosmetic/item/whatev. It's okay if I miss an event. Games aren't everything in life, right?
If this is your case too, well... just know that you'll be prouder of yourself when you finish something, like an art piece. Starting something, working on it, making mistakes and fixing them, and finishing it.
The joy of creation, I'll say. And yeah, it can be very frustating not getting what you want on the first try, but that's part of the process. And it's worth it, really. Ten times worth more than swiping up for hours.
